Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

Clothing

The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please CAREFULLY check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc. We will be checking your items at the store and will not accept any item that is not in excellent condition.

Use children's PLASTIC hangers for sizes 6 and below. Use larger PLASTIC hangers for sizes 8 and above.

We will be able to accept:
Fall/Winter appropriate items such as pants, long-sleeves, sweaters, heavy/puffy coats and jackets, hoodies, ski pants/gear, snow boots, flannel, fleece, corduroy, turtlenecks, gloves, winter hats, scarves and accessories, and holiday items including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter.

We will accept school-appropriate shorts and short-sleeve shirts as well as name-brand sandals such as Keen, Birkenstocks, and Chacos.

Please note all pants must be pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor. See our how-to videos for visuals! Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

We will NOT accept tank tops, swimsuits, flip flops, sandals, white dress shoes, water toys, or 4th of July themed clothing.

Shoes

Please only bring your like-new shoes! 1) Put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of the shoes, this will help if they get separated. 2) Safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet.

Ziptie the pair together or put in a large ziplock if necessary.

No summer sandals or flip flops (unless name-brand) accepted in the Fall/Winter sale.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SHOES WITH SCUFFED TOES, DIRTY OR DISCOLORED SOLES.

Bedding

It is best to package a bedding set together in its original clear plastic bag with zipper. Large ziploc bags can also be purchased to keep bedding clean and together. They sell the XL bags at the dollar stores.

We will accept the following items for our bedding section:
-Crib size sheets and bedding. These can be placed in ziplock-style bags.
-TWIN bedding for a children's room.
-Decorative Pillows Only
-Sleeping Bags

We will not accept full, queen or king bedding. No curtains, valences, or extra shams will be accepted.

Use a safety pin to attach the string tag to the sheet. Label any bedding set with everything that is included and the size.

Blankets & Swaddles

We do not accept handmade/crochet blankets. Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, we suggest grouping 2 or 3 together on a hanger and pinning them together. You may safety pin the tag to the blankets.

Loose Items

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin tag to ziploc bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off during the sale. **Note: we do not sell used nipples for bottles. Remove them before sealing bags.**

Toys, Furniture, Equipment

Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated it will not sell. Games should be taped closed. Puzzles, books, videos and small toys should be grouped accordingly and put in ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and pin tag to the ziploc bag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We will only accept Disney or other name brand stuffed animals in like new condition.

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!
